Rukkel Educare was founded by Homa Rukky Orlu Makele. The service has grown from working closely with families across Belfast, supporting children through childcare, after-school routines, and tutoring, including transfer test preparation.

Alongside this, Homa has around nine years’ experience in education and childcare, working in roles that include teaching, classroom support, play work, and after-school management. This experience has given her a clear understanding of how children learn, settle, and respond in different environments.

Through this work, a consistent pattern became clear. Many parents were not just looking for childcare, but for something more structured and dependable, something that supports children through learning, play, and a steady routine, while also fitting into the reality of family life.

Rukkel Educare was built from that understanding.
Homa also serves within her church’s children ministry, and her faith shapes the way she approaches working with children, with care, patience, and a strong sense of responsibility.
